Who we are

This website is operated by Cross Hares Pest & Wildlife Management, run by Rachel Peach and Macaulay Weston. We are responsible for deciding how personal information submitted through this website is used.

For privacy queries, email info@crossharesmanagement.co.uk.

Information we collect

  • Enquiries: your name, email address and the message you submit using our contact form, including any property or location information you choose to provide.
  • Basic technical information: our hosting and security providers may process information such as IP addresses, browser details and access logs needed to deliver and protect the website.
  • Optional analytics information: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics may collect information about page visits, browser or device characteristics and interactions with the website.

You do not have to complete the enquiry form to browse our website. If you want a reply to an enquiry, we need enough contact information to respond.

How we use your information

We use enquiry details to reply to questions, discuss potential services and maintain relevant business correspondence. Depending on the circumstances, this is based on our legitimate interests in handling enquiries or on steps you ask us to take before entering a contract.

Technical information is used where needed to operate and protect the site. We use Google Analytics for understanding and improving website usage only if you choose to accept optional analytics.

We do not use the website contact form to make solely automated decisions about you.

Cookies & analytics

Cookies are small items of information stored by a browser. We also use your browser’s local storage to remember your cookie preference. The website works if you reject optional analytics.

TechnologyPurposeWhen usedHow long

Analytics is provided by Google. Its cookies help produce website-usage reports; we do not need them to deliver the website itself. Our current site loads the Google Analytics script only after you accept optional analytics. You can visit Google’s Privacy Policy for more information.

Change your cookie decision

Select the Cookie settings button available on our website and choose Reject optional cookies or Accept analytics cookies. Rejecting prevents further analytics loading on subsequent page loads, but any Google cookies already saved may remain until you remove them using your browser settings or they expire.

Essential storage needed to remember your decision does not require the same opt-in as optional analytics.

Sharing, storage & retention

Our website uses Netlify for hosting and contact form processing. Enquiry submissions may be stored in Netlify’s form system and accessed by people responsible for responding to them. Google receives analytics information only if optional analytics has been accepted. Our service providers may process data outside the UK; please contact us if you need more information about relevant transfer arrangements.

We keep enquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage related business records and meet any applicable legal obligations. We review information we no longer need. Google Analytics data and cookies follow the retention and configuration settings of that service.

For details of providers’ practices, see Netlify’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal information, or request a copy of it. You can withdraw consent to optional analytics at any time.

Your right to object: you may object to certain uses of your personal information, including processing based on legitimate interests.

If you have concerns, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
